For my second birthday spent here in the Philippines, I wanted to invite some friends for a sleepover to show them a "stateside" birthday party. (Here, most birthdays are spent eating food with your friends entire family!) It wasn't my favorite birthday because I was expecting 5 friends total, but only 2 could come, but I enjoyed it.
For presents, I got some PSP speakers from my mom & dad and 500 pesos to spend from my grandparents. I had fun riding scooters at the basketball courts and then swimming also, but it was not fun when my mom gave us a bedtime! Maybe it's because the last sleepover I had, we stayed up all night and then we didn't have any energy to play the next day.
After my friends went home, my parents surprised us with a box of stuff from our friends at Park Crest. It was so great. My favorite part of the gifts was getting 2 new Bionicles from my best friend Robert. My other favorite was, well, the whole box, it was awesome! I felt so excited and shocked by it all. It was just so nice. Thank you! It was the best birthday present ever!
